Good news for all.... Good tidings this Christmas from the Green movement and also from the Wallies in Canberra. If the days get too hot this summer you are allowed to turn OFF your air conditioners. For three times the price too. Now how's that for competent action and fore thought
Thanks for FA. A special thanks to all the smart ass's that gave them the percentages to prove yet once again, what a bunch of ninnies they are.
The below graph (ex 'Australian Energy Markets' at 08,20 EST on 13.10.2017) indicates the input to our grid from all sources of energy production...
Whilst observing the graph, My mate Blind Freddy informed me that solar was not featured. But Freddy's sight does not match his insight, he was unable to observe the thin red line that makes up the very bottom (almost zero line) of the graph... being a feature that remarkably (even to this climate sceptic) is the sum total of solar energy input.
And although wind features as a source of energy, it becomes more obvious that wind would be more consistent out of Canberra than the balance of all those spasmodically producing windmills. Strewth !! Besides Hanson Young, ... what else is tits up?.
Somehow now; that God awful coal and the equally obnoxious gas; previously only good for export; is suddenly required to power up not only those phased out wretched, filthy, steam belching generators, but also to be used in the rapidly planned and I should imagine (disgusting ?) new ones.
Well done Greens. Well done Pollies .... We will also be able to further admire all those competent scientists for providing us with rising oceans..... so as we can cool off this summer.... FFS

Yes Tute, you better get your speedo's out of storage... I see the Guru's of Gaia have predicted Australian cities will be fried big time by 50-degree stinkers come this century's end.
As can be anticipated the ABC went big on it, but with nary an attempt to seek a counterview to those of the ABC's on-board climate careerists. Whilst it is difficult to keep track of the climate fretters every outrageous prophecy, it's absolutely impossible to collate all the ABC's many partisan assaults on any climate truth. It is far easier to follow taxpayer dollars being swept into the gully traps populated by the acolytes of alarmism.
Though there is some light on the horizon... Those that were only too keen to put their names to the doomsday scenario are now becoming scarcer.

Wot you say boy - end of century - us old fartz is not likely to make i to the end of the 2020s. And the new age artificial high seekers are gunna hit the wall even earlier.

If Australia was a jungle with biiiiig canopy trees all over we'd be laughing. But its a dried up scorched Grain groping field and that's bloody hot in Summer. Leave your Air con on and let the blackout wage war.

Newcastle Herald had a story Yesterday. 61% of us believe we should head to renewable generation.
So have they Scienced the shite out of it or have they been swindled into this belief.
On a barren planet we're asked to pump hydro? On a dusty plain we're going to add a solar array They've sold the rights to our gas so we're not building a gas back up plant anyplace soon. Ahmm, we do have a lot of unused coal. We do have a collection of regulations that say we get coal if you dig it up. But we cant burn it cause it's going to heat up.
Mean while we have 40,000 battery powered cars running around the country. A company (uni students) are recycling these batteries into household battery stacks. Recycling them into battery stacks for caravan owners because they're lighter and carry more charge than do the lead acid batteries.
As reported earlier the recycle companies for damaged solar cells are only dealing with commercial panels.
AEMO showed very little solar input late at night. AEMO showed wind input last night. AEMO showed coal fired input last night
Lots of it.

You are a naughty boy Cster... how many times has Tute told you to follow the money trail.
Inclusive of some media, Unions are also in control of a vast amount of this countries superannuation funds. Obviously they need to invest. Having the best interests of the rank and file....(pigs might fly) they have invested (wisely or unwisely) in renewable energies, hence the thrust, at every tick of the clock, to enforce a favourable outcome from a pile of crap.... irrespective of the damage that those half witted dumbass crap policies may ultimately lead to.
As you sow...

Oh dear, one doth bow ones head in shame, but wait out of the corner of my eye I spy the Mighty Leader talking to a Journo. They've fixed everything, we'll have power a plenty, maybe even some spare!
I daresant mention it though so I'll lift me head later, Hmm maybe I could just kock my ear a bit.
Yes want to ensure your agenda gets up? Then spend all our money on it. That'll help for sure.

Here we are in the throws of a debate over where we are going with our climate. Here Viv offers his opinion of where we are heading. pickeringpost.com/story/watching-weather-waves-but-missing-climate-tides/8392My question is? Are we conserving our coal for a future that will require it or are we selling it off to distant shores for far too cheap a price to fill the coffers of those that bribe our governing officials!!

So what he is waffling on about is the earths heart beat. If I see a graph with ups and downs that constitutes an equivalent heart beat then I'd expect the graph to continue as it has in the past. So we may be able to hold the present warm period for awhile if we keep the power on. But we cant compete with Ma Nature if we give so much ground to her via the topography disruptions we presently have.
That graph of eight earth cycles should continue no matter what we do, but e could at least temper some of the sharp changes in direction on the graph yet to come

Scientists, there are 79 climate scientists that proff read what they say. Here are a few other scientificy ty[e dudes with a story to tell. When are we likely to have another Ice age?
It goes for 12 minutes

Yes, Sediba!! There is/will be lot & lots of...wind...SMELLY Wind!! It happens in Argentina...you know...the Pampas...where there are millions of bulls...roaming and eating grass & producing windy winds! The smelly winds will force the turbines to turn...the other way! to avoid breathing the Smelly Winds...or...I got IT wrong...AGAIN?!?

Hamster wheel is new natural high energy source. Hamsters are being mutated using the "ant" gene that makes them humongously strong for their size and the blue whale gene that makes them a very big size.
The fuel/feed for the HAMANTWHALESTER can be either plankton or chook pellets. It is estimated that a city like Canberra could run all its electricity on 1 tonne of chook pellets per hour.
The chook pellets can be processed from grains etc but for that they need fertilizer. They have not figured out where to get the supply of bullshit for fertilizer, yet.

I suppose it's fair and reasonable to expect the Hamant Whalester is a rather obese version of the Croonster, a crooning hipster who when not crooning is prone to spreading Bull at fertiliser levels across the capital.

Renewables takeover from coal in GermanyYeah yeah FFS.... how many gullibles believe this shite..... Germany still gets the bulk of its power via coal, gas, and nuclear.... the latter via France. It will never be viable on renewables. Strewth.... you been on that wacky backy over xmas Sed.

Yes Germany is having a crack at it, Using local manufacturing to supply much of the stuff that goes into renewables.
Yet here all we seem to do is pour the concrete, not really much imput for such an expensive device.
Germany is a bit like South Oz in that it gets power from all over, in her case Europe. Had this story been about a major exporter, well! then that would be news. So we'll wait for the fully sustainable and exporting news bulletin.

Forge was VERY worried!! He (Forge) got the conclusion (after re-re-re reading the latest postS) that a CONCLUSION was concluded on the production of Reneawable Energy! It was NOT the case....it was caused by the argentinian Toros that left the signs of THEIR presence!!

Forge. Germany closed a Coal mine A Month or so ago and Closed a Coal Fired Power Station. That changes the Mix and that makes the percentages different and in favour of Renewables. Changing their power mix also should include a change in the import value, but they left that one out of that statement.

Methinks there are power stations closing somewhere every day and others going on line. Coal mines close all the time too.
I had a colleague in the EPA who used to relate his handling of a complaint about a quarry.
The woman complainant said, "They should move that quarry, it is too noisy and dusty"
Bill's response was, "They are moving it madam, one truckload at a time."
Power stations have a finite life span and so do coal mines, so if anyone looks hard enough for stats. that suit them, they can find them.

You have satellite data showing that the local heat sensor is correct in giving a temp reading. But please not an arid zone and the Arctic unless the albedo is the same with salt and snow and the hydrological cycle is at least similar.
Still a naked skin will get burned, It's still High Obliquity and Minimal Eccentricity that gives me the sweats.
