At our shed a few of us have been making garden silhouettes They are bitumen coated plywood The girl is a pattern some minor changes will be made to the final. There is opposition from some members of our committee who say that the girl is too risque and it will stop us getting grant money (but a cowboy with a gun or a pirate with a sword is OK - go figure) What do you think??? Other issues come out of that = If a shed had a life drawing class would that be too naughty for a men's shed and stop them getting a grant. What if they publicly displayed their nude art. Anyway this is a picture of me with some silhouettes. Am I a naughty boy and how old should I have to be to stand next to the silhouette of the girl.

But they actually don't look toooooo bad. They mite even sell.
Well done those 99.983% shedders at cinnamon park. Don't let the gravity of it all get you down ... Heheee

Thanks Mip no I don't think so, unless there are some leftover backpackers who want to earn some easy dosh. When I paint landscapes I always put a nude in, but so I do not offend anyone I put them behind trees.

Ok the latest info I have is the girl silhouette is fine (Artist friend Charlene Morris art contractor to Gold Coast City Council) Here are the final shapes, the girl is still a pattern, but I reshaped her nose and tilted her head up a bit. I took 3 inches out of the cowboy's torso he is tall but I cut him in two so he can be transported. She is a tad under 5 feet. Here is a photo shoot at my place. The concept is looking good commercially, marine plywood is light and easy to transport and coating with bitumen should make them water tight for outdoors. We can make any silhouette anyone wants to pay for. The girl should be about $100 and the cowboy a bit more and that only gives us $25 per hour but we are happy with that.
