Who am I?
I can't truly say I renewed my licence today and they took my old licence with my picture on it and told me they would mail out my new one in a week or two, so I have no ID with my pic on it in the interim.
My doc stuffed up the form and ticked the restricted Riders licence and the car licence. So I scrapped the bike licence altogether.
So now I cannot prove who I am and I have not got a bike licence.
I sold the Boulevard before Xmas so it is goodbye to the extra risk associated with 2 wheels and the fresh air air-bag deflector.
One lot of fun disappears and the next lot of fun ...... well it must be around somewhere.

Never mind Madam T, the news is full of people out riding without either licence or rego these days. If you've no intention of powering your bikes with anything higher than 200watts then you've no need for it anyway right There is a very attractive E-Flyer from Icon that I like but its 750watt minimum, so would have to be registered, shucks

If you've no intention of powering your bikes with anything higher than 200watts then you've no need for it anyway right There is a very attractive E-Flyer from Icon that I like but its 750watt minimum, so would have to be registered, shucks Thanks mine came from Dillinger but I would not deal with them again if I have a choice. Mine is supposed to be legal and 250 Watt but that is 36V and my new battery charges to 43V but some have gear arrangements to provide higher talk at low RPM and others do not. My bike also has Shimano Nexus 3 speed hub gears and even with the extra weight it all goes fine as a pedal with electric assist. Some centre drive motors need high wattage at low speeds to do anything because they are not geared. So the only reliable indicator is performance. Legal is no power assist after 25 Klicks and that is plenty for bike-way cruising. The pedal power assist gives me exercise like a an exercise bike while getting around like a teenager on a bike. My bonus is I can carry a bit of cargo too (ie my bowls) If you get a chance it is all good.
