I needed this one because it appeared in the book I wrote. (Anyone remember Piggy Muldoon?)

Some good selections here and walks down memory lane. I was recently put onto Tom Waits. You might be familiar with Rod Stewart 'Downtown Train'. Well, the song actually belongs to Waits, but his version is very different.
Another of my favorite musicians is the late Jeff Porcaro. That name wouldn't mean much to most people, however they most definitely would have heard his music. He was the drummer from Toto. He created what's known as the Porcaro Shuffle which was included in Rosanna. See the video below.

Liked both of those.
The second, Jeff Pocaro, sounds like he could have written or influenced Fine Young Cannibals

Yeah Val ... love Black Sabbath. The lyrics to Nightwing are great. Caster, I listened to IRobot, new one to me. You might like Ayreon, a slightly more metallic sound. Ayreon
I got a slight grudge against them at the moment. I made two Movies (600+ hours) uploaded them to yuotube .. and they blocked both for copyright infringement. Bastards.

Ayreon does seem a little more aggressive than the I Robot Album.

Liked both of those. The second, Jeff Pocaro, sounds like he could have written or influenced Fine Young Cannibals He may have, the lead singer out of that band was a soft-porn actor, and I can't remember where I heard that. I know Porcaro worked with many artists, I know he worked and toured a lot with Boz Scaggs. He come up with the beat to Madonna's 'Like a Prayer', but that's just one. I can't name them all from memory. Sitting at numbers 31 and 32 respectively of Rolling Stone Magazine's Top 500 Songs are Led Zeppelin with Stairway to Heaven (1971) and The Rolling Stones Sympathy for the Devil (1968). It's interesting to note that both bands were linked at one stage or another to the works of Satanist Aleister Crowley. Other musicians have also reportedly been influenced in some way by his writings, and they include; U2; David Bowie; Little Richard; Michael Jackson; Kurt Cobain; and various others. Anyway, I just had a quick scroll and I can't believe that Guns 'N Roses November Rain is not included on the top 500 list. Guitar World voted it #6 on the all time greatest guitar solos of all time.

I have been listening to two entirely different tapes. One called I robot of the Alan Parsons Project. The other is Band on the run of Wings fame. Yes I know Tapes, I have a headset and old Phillips cassette player (the hand held walking type) that does a great job of letting me escape the world when played.
